Welcome to PSD Online Summer School!

PSD Online Summer School occurs in a fully online format. You can start your classes as soon as you get your start email. Emails will be sent to your PSD email address on the day you are enrolled in the class. Enrollment is based on the Session for which you have registered. 

All classes have a teacher.

Class Teachers

There are no mandatory class meeting days. You will have a class syllabus with completion dates in the APEX system. You must be motivated to work at your own pace and submit materials in a timely fashion. Teachers will monitor progress and grade work. They will contact you if there is a problem or there's a concern about completing the class on time. You are encouraged to reach out to your class teacher with questions. Teacher contact information is posted at the beginning of each class.

Class Completion 

You MUST HAVE access to a computer and high-speed Internet. 

If you have a long activity scheduled or will be out of town for an extended period, you should let your teacher know. You should complete as much as possible before leaving and get started right away when you return. 

Starting a Class

You will receive an email through your PSD Email when you are enrolled in the Blackboard class. You will use the PSD Blackboard link to access your class with your PSD credentials. 

Every PSD Blackboard class starts with an Orientation. Log into Blackboard, read through it all, and take the Orientation Quiz before starting on class content.
